MCDM2011 Conference in Jyväskylä in Summer 2011

The 21st International Conference on Multiple Criteria Decision Making, MCDM2011, is held in Jyväskylä in summer.
The conference will present diverse range of methods and applications. The event is good opportunity to adduce different ranges of business and research and their challenge of managing multiple contradictory objectives. Industry sessions are especially welcome. Presenting only scientific strong contribution is not obligatory but for example concentrating on the challenges and needs of industry in the light of contradictory objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for FIMECC program actors and industrial challenges rised from our functions to make one presentation and have as an audience wide range of enthuastic problem solvers all over the world.

Utilize the unique opportunity to find new business partners and to visit Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China!
Hermia Business Development Ltd has signed cooperation agreement with the representatives of Wuxi in China. The purpose is to build more cohesive cooperation in order to transfer technologies and increase business activities.
The objective of cooperation is to find Finnish and other European technology companies that are interested in Chinese markets. Through this cooperation network the companies have the possibility to get to the local networks, influencers and financing in China. Wuxi is a special Sensor technology centre in China, and has been granted relative amounts of funding to develop, export, import and process such technologies in the region. Wuxi is also willing to support establishment of foreign enterprises to the region with special funding theme.
In October 2010, a Sensor Technology Cooperation Forum will be held in Wuxi, China. It will work as a forum to gather together Finnish, European and Chinese companies and financiers.

NordForsk is planning a "get together day" for the participants in the Nordic Private Public Partnership PhD Programme to be held in Oslo on 25 August between 10.00-17.30. Venue for the day is Felix Conference Centre, Aker Brygge in Oslo.
The day will be filled with presentations by inspiring lecturers on topics related to the Public Private Partnership, entrepreneurship including experiences from previous PPP PhD students. The new PPP PhD students will also present their projects. All three partners of the project are invited (student, supervisors from academia and enterprise) as well as contact points for national PPP PhD programmes.
